www.neaea.gov.et Placement 2025: The Grade 12 University Student Grade 12 Exam in Ethiopia, also known as the Ethiopian University Entrance Exam, is a placement test for students seeking admission into various Ethiopian Universities for higher education.
In the Ethiopian Higher Secondary (grade 11 & grade 12) education framework, students choose specialization subjects either in Natural Sciences or Social Sciences. NEAEA (National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency) official website www.neaea.gov.et helps students to check their grade 12 result online. Once the result is published, a student can check their grade marks for respective subjects.

There a total of 45 universities in Ethiopia. A student can get a placement into one of these universities only after scoring the minimum cut-off marks in the Ethiopian University Entrance Exam (EUEE) exam. This is a national-level examination conducted at the end of grade 12.
The agency helps the students to choose university using @twelve.neaea.gov.et/Home/Placement. Every year, the university’s cut-off point is determined based on the performance of the students. For instance, students who score well will receive higher priority for placement in various universities compared to those with lower scores.

After the grade 12 result announcement by the Ethiopian National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency, students can view their placement information. To check it online students must have their own registration number.

- Once the page is open, click on the “Placement” from the main menu (top).
- Then enter your registration number in the given text box.
