SMIS AMU Student Grade Report @smis.amu.edu.et: The Arba Minch University (AMU) Student Management Information System (SMIS) helps students to check exam result and grade reports by login into the student portal.
Arba Minch University Student Management Information System (AMU-SMIS) is a web-based application custom-built for the University to allow more effective management of AMU student data and the administrative processes involved in obtaining a degree.

SMIS is hosted in the University datacenter but is accessible across all campuses, from any computing device with a connection to the University’s network.
SMIS allows the University Registrar to place students in their respective departments, generate student IDs, and automate the admission process of students into the University.
SMIS also offers a wide variety of tools to allow effective management of student records, including management of curriculum, course offering, registration, attendance, grade, and transcript record, class and exam schedule, dormitory, meal and heath service, cost-sharing and billing, withdrawal, readmission, and transfer processes.
SMIS AMU Student Grade Report
There is only one way to check the Arba Minch University (AMU) student report is using the Student Management Information System (SMIS). The grade result and exam management task is expected to be done by the Registrar using the account they get from the system administrator. The main tasks involved in the grade result and exam management are:
- 1. Grade, Grade Change, Makeup, and Supplementary Exam submission confirmation
- 2. NG management
- 3. Senate list management
- 4. Graduation management
- 5. Certificates and letter management
To view the exam result for all semester published courses and the status of the students, from the “Published Course” dropdown box select the section of the students you want to see their grade and academic status. The system will display the following master sheet.
The following steps will helps students to check student result and grade reports by login into the student portal.
- Visit SMIS AMU Website smis.amu.edu.et
- Login into the portal using your user name and password.
- Then at left menu click on “Published Course”
- The go-to the grade and academic status.
